A couple of interesting hands

Here are a couple of interesting hands from my session last night. I will reserve my thoughts on them until people have commented:

Full Tilt No-Limit Hold'em, $2.00 BB (6 handed) - Full-Tilt Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

BB ($227.40)
Hero (UTG) ($410)
MP ($332.50)
CO ($427.55)
Button ($416.40)
SB ($142.20)

Preflop: Hero is UTG with 6, 5
Hero bets $6, MP calls $6, CO calls $6, 2 folds, BB calls $4

Flop: ($25) 10, 6, K (4 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $18, 1 fold, CO calls $18, 1 fold

Turn: ($61) 2 (2 players)
Hero bets $50, CO calls $50

River: ($161) 7 (2 players)
Hero checks, CO bets $115, Hero raises to $336 (All-In), 1 fold

Total pot: $391 | Rake: $3

Results:
Hero didn't show 6, 5 (nothing).
Outcome: Hero won $388

Folding top set sucks. Booo. Villain is a generally passive player.

  1. Comments/Questions for Hand 1:

So given that you lead two streets and check-raised the river, what are you representing and what are you putting CO on? I would guess that you are trying to represent a good top pair, like A-K, or maybe a set of 10's given the strength of your river bet. Given that the CO just called on two streets with a flush draw out there, are you putting him on a medium king or a pair and a straight draw? I really like your line given that I can't think of any hands he has that can call an all-in on the river but didn't raise earlier in the hand.

  2. He could call with 9s8s exactly I think.

  3. For the first hand, are you figuring that the villain's call-call-bet could mean a busted flush or straight draw, or maybe one pair -- which couldn't call the river raise?

For the second hand, what makes you sure that the villain has a 4? A pair of 4s seems most likely? If he has a straight, why bet >75% of the pot... doesn't that just help you fold?
